Amsterdamsche Hockey & Bandy Club

The Amsterdamsche Hockey & Bandy Club was founded on 28 January 1892 and is thus the oldest hockey club in the Netherlands. With its 2100 members of the AH & BC is the largest hockey club in Amsterdam and the third largest in the country. Both the men's team and the women play in the highest Dutch league, the Hoofdklasse. In the past season, the ladies in the playoffs for the national championship with 1:2 had to admit defeat to the series champion HC 's- Hertogenbosch.
