An American Tail: The Treasure of Manhattan Island

An American Tail: The Treasure of Manhattan Island (Original Title: An American Tail: The Treasure of Manhattan Iceland ) is the third part of the adventures of the little mice Richs Fievel and his friends of Larry Latham, who started off in cinemas in the UK in 1998.

The film is a sequel to An American Tail Wanderer in the Wild West and was in turn followed by An American Tail: The Treasure of Manhattan.

Content

It tells the story of Fievel, the mouse Walker and his friends, he is bored with his life in the city of New York, here comes Tony, who by chance comes one day at a treasure map and persuades him to a new adventure. Tony and Feivels father working in a cheese factory where the working environment is very bad and harassment by their superiors on the agenda. To distract yourself from everyday life, Tony and Fievel explore the New York subway shafts, where they one day find a treasure map of Native Americans. Professor Glibberich deciphered the map as a work of the first inhabitants of Manhattan. Together, you can stroll down the search close to the Indian tribe, but the shady bosses of the cheese factory where Feivels father works, get wind of it and want the treasure of the Indians, which has there withdrawn before the newcomers, snaffle. This will prevent Fievel and his friends necessarily. Since the other mice, especially factory owners Raffke and police chief Rabiator that evoke prejudices against foreigners, there will be riots against the Indians.
