Anatoly Durov
Anatoly Durov Anatoljevich ( other spelling variations Durov, Duroff; Russian Анатолий Анатольевич Дуров; * November 26 / December 8, 1887 in Voronezh, † 19 November 1928 Izhevsk ) was one of the best known and most talented animal trainer of the 20th century. He came from a circus family of actors whose role is not to be underestimated in the making of the Russian circus.
Durows ancestors
Anatolis great-grandmother, Nadezhda Durowa the first officer was in the Russian army, which was during the war against Napoleon for decorated soldiers of the Russian cavalry. His mother Teresa Durowa, born Stadler, was a talented circus horse of German descent and owner of the Bavarian circus. During the long and successful tours in Russia they found their home. His father, Anatoly Leonidovich Durov was born in an old noble family, but had to because of the wandering life of his circus troupe separate from the family. Anatoli was good acrobat, magician and readership. Anatoli ( Sen. ) and Vladimir Leonidovich Durov were the first of the Durov dynasty, who won fame as a circus actor.
Career
1914 made his circus debut in Anatoli Junior Brothers Circus Nikitin in the Russian city of Ryazan. The real fame came but only after the October Revolution of 1917. Anatoly Durov the youngest appeared with a large group of animals. In 1921 he went with his guest appearances abroad. In Serbia, he entered the city of Subotica on the variety show Alhambra; in the city of Zagreb in a concert hall, in the city of Sarajevo - in the conservatory. In November 1921, he signed contracts for his performances in Graz and Vienna, Austria, with the international circus Orpheus for 500,000 crowns plus travel expenses.
1922 to 1923 he toured Italy with performances in Rome, Milan, Padua (Padova), Genoa (Genova), Bari, Venice, Bologna, Treviso, Adria ( Atria ) and other places. The Italian Queen Elena asked Anatoly Durov Anatolievich to give a private presentation on their royal villa. His abgerichteter Dog Petit lived three days in the palace of the queen. Queen Elena gave him a gold cigar case and thanksgiving letter.
After his tours through Europe and the United States Anatoly Durov returned to Soviet Russia, where he developed the internationally recognized performance program. Later he settled in the southern Russian city of Taganrog (1926 ), where he founded the Theatre of Anatoly Durov Animal Taganrog.
Anatoly Durov died relatively young 1928. His nephew Vladimir Grigoryevich Durov ( 1909-1972 ) and Yuri Vladimirovich Durov ( 1909-1971 ) continued his tradition. Both were People's Artist of USSR. Z. currently directs Teresa Wassiljewna Durowa ( born on September 5, 1925), Anatolis niece, the Durov Theatre in Moscow.
