Unlike Bäckegren ( born July 25, 1968 in Gothenburg ) is a former Swedish handball player.

Bäckegren initially played in his home at BK Heid and Redbergslids IK. In 1996, he joined the then German second division side VfL ​​Bad Schwartau. With Schwartau two years later he was promoted to the Bundesliga. After Bäckegren drew upon his second torn ACL of his career in December 2000, he finished his career shortly thereafter.

Bäckegren played 57 international matches for the Swedish national team, in which he threw 92 goals. With Sweden, he won the silver medal at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.
