Anders Lange

Anders Lange ( born September 5, 1904 in Aker, Akershus, † 18 October 1974) was a Norwegian journalist and politician.

From 1929 was a long time secretary Fedrelandslaget, a right-wing organization that should propose in 1936 Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini for the Nobel Peace Prize. However, he was repeatedly imprisoned during the German occupation of Norway for illegal work.

After the war, he became a small farmer, in 1947 secretary of the Norwegian Kennel Club and then took the dogs magazine Hundeavisen, he converted later into a political newspaper of anti-communist character. Here Lange repeatedly expressed its support for the apartheid regime in South Africa.

In 1973 he founded the Anders Lange 's Party ( ALP), later renamed Fremskrittspartiet. A former agent of the South African Secret Service later claimed that the ALP was initially funded by the Government of South Africa.
