Three editions were produced in 1993, photocopied and, using a stencil, sprayed the cover that sparked some interest in the British short-run comic scene.

Watson sought access to various American publishers and was adopted in 1993 by Dan Vado of Slave Labor Graphics, published four editions of Samurai Jam. These were not a success, partly to blame were the lot to different art styles that Watson used in every issue, but Vado is not obstructed, and Watson returned in 1995 with Skeleton Key, a -monthly, 16 - page comic, back which 30 issues long run and cemented his reputation.

After Skeleton Key Watson went to Oni Press, the luggage Geisha, a graphic novel about a young artist who is a robot. Instead, respond to the fact that she is a robot, Watson used the story to examine the ideas of real and spuriousness. The book was an artistic bridge between the manga -inspired skeleton key and its current, more European style of Watson.

Late work

One of the original Geisha miniseries nachgeschobener Oneshot marked a dramatic upheaval in Watson's style. He brought a stylistic influences of European artists such as François Avril and Dupuy - Berberian ( Philippe Dupuy and Charles Berberian ), but retained the slow narrative style of the long manga. This bore fruit in Breakfast After Noon, a story about " a slice of life " in the industrial Midlands of Britain. This was followed by the novella Dumped, a love story, produced in collaboration with the BIG festival in Turin.

Watson returned in 2002 with Slow News Day to Slave Labor back, a graphic novel about a small British town newspaper that deals with the English attitude toward Americans and the theme " Big words - Small audience " dealing.
