André Milhoux

André Milhoux ( born December 9, 1928 in Bressoux ) is a former Belgian racing driver.

André Milhoux denied in Belgium in the early 1950s, sports and touring car racing and drove in his career, only a single-seater racing.

In 1956 Milhoux at the Grand Prix of Germany the Formula 1 in place of the injured in the free practice André Pilette part and qualified significantly to rank 21 behind his teammate Robert Manzon. Due to an engine failure at its Gordini Type 32 but he could not finish the race. For more Formula 1 inserts Milhoux ' it did not.

As a sports car driver Milhoux could celebrate some successes. 1953 won it as a partner of Paul Frère on a Chrysler unlimited class for touring cars in the Mille Miglia. In 1955 he was a teammate of André Pilette fourth at the 1000 km race from Paris to Montlhery.

After an accident during practice for the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa- Francorchamps in 1958, he had survived intact in a Ferrari 801 Equipe Nationale Belge, is Milhoux retired from active racing.

Today Milhoux lives in Ixelles in Brussels.
