Andrea Moletta

Andrea Moletta (born 23 February 1979) is an Italian racing cyclist.

Andrea Moletta, living in tombolo, ran from 2005 to 2008 in the German UCI ProTeam Gerolsteiner. He came primarily as a helper for the one-day classics to the team, this role fulfilled Moletta and helped eg Fabian Wegmann on his victory at the Grand Prix of San Francisco in 2005. His greatest successes are a stage victory in the Peace Race in 2003, then still in the jersey of Mercatone Uno, a third place in the Giro del Friuli in 2004, at that time in the jersey of Team Barloworld, and a second place at the GP Miguel Indurain in 2005, behind his team-mate Fabian Wegmann.
