Andrea Parker (DJ)
Andrea Parker (born 2 April 1969) is a British musician ( cello, singer, DJ).
She grew up in Yalding, Kent. It produces experimental electronic music, with a wingspan of trip-hop beats over downtempo to a dark ambient. Although cello player, Parker was heavily influenced by pioneers of electronic music such as Art of Noise and Jean Michel Jarre. Her debut album Kiss My Arp, a tribute to the classic synthesizer ARP Instruments, was released at the legendary hip-hop label Mo ' Wax 1999. The electronics producer David Morley, so far always been an important part of their musical output, functioned among others as co -writer. Almost all studio recordings of Andrea Parker made in his studio in Germany and Belgium respectively.
