Andrea Parker (DJ)

Andrea Parker (born 2 April 1969) is a British musician ( cello, singer, DJ).

She grew up in Yalding, Kent. It produces experimental electronic music, with a wingspan of trip-hop beats over downtempo to a dark ambient. Although cello player, Parker was heavily influenced by pioneers of electronic music such as Art of Noise and Jean Michel Jarre. Her debut album Kiss My Arp, a tribute to the classic synthesizer ARP Instruments, was released at the legendary hip-hop label Mo ' Wax 1999.
