Andrea Thomas (German athlete)
Andrea White, former Andrea Thomas, born Andrea Irmgard Bersch ( born April 9, 1963 in Gul ) is a retired German sprinter.
Life
( 43.2 s Gabriele lip, Ulrike Sarvari, Thomas, Silke- Beate Knoll ) For the Federal Republic of starting, she won the 1990 European Athletics Championships in Split, the silver medal in the 4 x 100 - meter relay. In these European Championships she finished eighth in the 200 - meter dash ( 23.01 s ) and number four with the 4 x 400 - meter relay ( 3:25,12 min).
At the World Athletics Championships 1987 in Rome, she was in the 4 x 100 - meter relay in 43.20 s fifth at the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 she came each to fourth place with the 4-by- 100 - meter relay in 42.76 seconds and the 4 x 400 - meter relay in 3:25,12 min; in the individual competitions, she came over 100 meters into the quarter and about 200 meters semi-finals.
Four years later at the Olympic Games in Barcelona, she reached the quarterfinals over 200 meters and was in the 4 x 100 - meter relay team fifth.
Andrea White was a member of the SSC Koblenz- kart home, the SC Eintracht Hamm and VfL Sindelfingen. In her competition time, she was 1.75 m tall and 60 kg. They married in 1987 and since then was the surname of Thomas, after re- marriage white. She is a trained retail saleswoman.
