Andreas Mitterfellner

Andreas Mitterfellner (born 17 June 1981) is an Austrian judoka. He finished in 3rd place at the European Championships.

Biography

Andreas Mitterfellner started his footballing career at the ASKO Pöls and has scored a national title in the offspring. After high school, he was a regular soldier in the Army Sports Centre. In 1999, he won his first of eight Austrian Champion title and finished at the Junior European Championships in third place. In 2006, he won for the second time at the World Military Championships. However, his greatest successes came with third place at the European Championships in 2006 in Tampere as well as third place. At the European Championships 2010 in Vienna

At the World Championships 2009 he resigned the same in the first round against the Ukrainian Sergei Drebot. In 2009 he began training as a massage therapist.
