Andrei Subbotin

Andrei Nikolaevich Subbotin (Russian: Андрей Николаевич Субботин; born February 1, 1973 in Tomsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is since 2013 in Yekaterinburg Burewestnik in Perwaja League under contract. His younger brother Dmitri is also a professional hockey player.

Career

Andrei Subbotin began his career as a hockey player with the HK CSKA Moscow, for its first team he in the 1991/92 season his debut in the Wysschaja League, the highest Soviet league, gave. During the course of the season he moved to the league rivals Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg, for which he was active in the International Hockey League from 1992 to 1995 after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. After only eight other Super League missions, he wrote again at Sibir Novosibirsk, for which he continued to play in the Super League until 2008. For the season 2008/ 09 the Russian was hired by his former club Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg. For this, he completed a season in the Wysschaja League, the second Russian league. Then the club was admitted to the year before, founded Continental Hockey League. In his first KHL game time former national players scored in 59 games with 13 goals and gave 15 assists. In the season 2010/11, Subbotin was on 36 scorer points, including 15 goals, increase in 48 games. He end of January 2011 was subsequently submitted by Awtomobilist to the top club Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, as his club could not reach the playoffs. For Yaroslavl KHL, he completed 17 games and then returned to Awtomobilist.

In the 2012/13 season Subbotin stood at Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk under contract.

Internationally

For the Soviet Union Subbotin took part in the junior level at the U18 European Junior Championships in 1991. For Russia it was 2003 in the squad for the Euro Hockey Tour.
