Andrew H. Van de Ven

Andrew Henry van de Ven ( born October 30, 1945 in Schijndel, Netherlands) is a Dutch economist. He specializes in research on organizational innovation and change.

Life

Andrew graduated in 1967 Henry van de Ven, St. Norbert College with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Two years later, he received an MBA in 1972 and a Ph. D. from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. 1972 van de Ven received a Ph. D. from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Subsequently, he was until 1975 a lecturer at Kent State University. From 1975 to 1981 van de Ven taught at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, in 1980 he became a full professor. In 1981, van de Ven to the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota where he was 3M Professor until 1992. In 1983 he became associate professor ( adjunct professor ) at the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs. Since 1993, Andrew van de Ven, Vernon H. Heath Professor of Organizational Innovation and Change.
