Andrew Miller (novelist)

Andrew Miller ( born April 29, 1960 in Bristol) is an English novelist. He is not to be confused with the 1974 -born namesake, who published under the name AD Miller.

Miller studied Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia in Norwich and at Lancaster University. It was founded in 1997, awarded several times "The Gift of Pain", a coming of age novel about a surgeon in the 18th century, who feels no pain for his debut. All of his novels have been translated into German. Miller lives in Somerset.
