Andrey Myagkov

Andrei Vasilyevich Myagkov (Russian: Андрей Васильевич Мягков, scientific transliteration Andrej Vasil'evič Mjagkov; born July 8, 1938 in Leningrad ) is a Russian actor.

Life

Myagkov studied engineering at the Technical University in Leningrad and then attended the drama school of the Moscow Art Theater, where he received his diploma with the role of Uncle's in Dostoevsky's Dream of a Ridiculous Man. In 1965 he was engaged at the Sovremennik Theatre in Moscow. He played there including the Baron in Gorky's The Lower Depths, to have the teacher Medvedenko in Chekhov's The Seagull and Kistotschkin in the comedy Always ( Всегда в продаже, 1965) by Vasily Aksenov.

After initial work in television, he had his feature film debut in 1968 with the role of Alyosha Karamazov in The Brothers Karamazov, Ivan Pyrjew. The Soviet television audience was known Andrei Myagkov by the television comedy Irony of Fate (1975 ) Eldar Ryazanov of, in which he played alongside the Polish actress Barbara Brylska. For this role, he was awarded the 1977 State Prize of the USSR. In 1979 he received the Vasiliev Prize and in 1986 the title of National actor of the USSR. In Moscow he first played at the Gorki Theater and later at the Chekhov Theatre. Ironija sudby is broadcast since the seventies traditionally every year on New Year's Eve by the Soviet and now Russian state television. 2007 was director Timur Bekmambetov of a sequel to the film rotated in the Myagkov also participated.
