History

In 1938, the wholesale merchant Joseph Ander, patron of the SK Olomouc ASO (ASO stand for the other a syn Olomouc, German Ander and son, Olomouc) the construction of a new stadium in order. After two years of construction, the stadium was opened in 1940 with the Cup final between Olomouc ASO and the SK Prostějov. The capacity was 20,000 spectators. Subsequently, a temporary wooden grandstand was built, which stood until 1977. After the dissolution of the SK Olomouc ASO in 1951, it served the army team Křídla Vlasti Olomouc until 1955 as home ground. In 1950, there was in the stadium Miru ( German: Stadium of Peace) renamed. The building became the property of the city and was later briefly the club Slavoj Zora Olomouc.

In the following years the stadium fell into disrepair and stood empty. Until 1969 it was free and TJ Sigma Olomouc MZ, today SK Sigma Olomouc leased. 1974 built the club to a new building with changing rooms, offices and club rooms.
