Andy Classen

Andy Classen ( * 20th century ) is a German record producer and musician.

Career

He began his career in 1981 as the guitarist of the German thrash metal band Holy Moses, whose current front woman is his ex-wife Sabina Classen. Included the albums When War Begins ... from the thrash -core band Warpath and Mc Gillroy the Housefly of the psychedelic death metal band Incubator At Classen's first productions under the label West Virginia Records. Andy Classen also took hold in the German hardcore punk scene by producing bands like Ryker's and Brightside. Classen remained until 1994, guitarist with Holy Moses. After his departure, he became a full time producer and sound engineer at Stage One Studio.

In 1997, Andy Classen together with Dirk Weiss of the thrash metal band Warpath the New German hardness associated tape Richthofen, with whom he recorded the debut album soul waltz and then went on tour. Before the recordings of their second album, Heroes of the time he separated from Richthofen and focused again on his work as a producer.
