Andy Moor (musician)

Andy Moor ( born January 16, 1980 in Stoke-on -Trent, United Kingdom as Andrew Beardmore ) is a British trance DJ and producer. He is also known under the pseudonyms Dub Disorder, Dwight van Man and Sworn and was part of the cooperation Indigo, Leama & Moor, Lewis & Moor, Tilt, Whiteroom, and Zoo DJs.

Life

Andy Moor came at an early age with the music in touch. At the age of five he mastered his first piano piece and the age of eleven he played six more instruments. His first record he put on the age of thirteen.

His musical career started in 1999 and in 2000 he released his first single called Violent City. His breakthrough came in 2004 when he ( with Adam White co-production) enjoyed great success with " The White Room " and remixed including The Chemical Brothers, Paul Oakenfold, Avril Lavigne and Nelly Furtado. In the Trance Awards, he was awarded in the same year as the best producer. A year later he produced together with Above & Beyond the single " Air For Life ", which was elected in 2005 in Armin van Buuren radio show A State of Trance to the "Tune of the Year" and in 2006 at the International Dance Music Awards for "Best Trance track " was excellent. In 2005, he produced more remixes of Tiësto, among others, and Britney Spears.

At the Grammy Awards 2008, he was for his remix of Deleriums single " Angelicus " in the category " Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical " nominated. In 2009, Andy Moor in the selection of the Top 100 DJs of DJ Mag in 15th place

Moor has a new label AVA Recordings, which belongs to the label Armada Music since 10 December 2008.
