Angel Coulby
Angel Coulby ( born August 30, 1980 in London) is an English theater, film and television actress. Her first television role was in the British sitcom Orrible. She became well known in both the UK and in Germany especially for her role as Gwen in the BBC series Merlin family.
Life
Childhood and youth
Growing up is Angel Coulby in the region of London's Finsbury Park. Once she had decided to become an actress, she moved to Edinburgh and studied acting at Queen Margaret University. She's a friend of the actor Bradley James and Colin Morgan.
Before Merlin
Shortly after she graduated from university, she landed a role in the produced by the BBC sitcom Orrible (where she starred alongside Johnny Vaughan ). Although the series was seen by many as a major failure, it did not mean the end for Angel Coulby which roles in many British top series received ( among them, for example, Doctor Who, Casualty or Hustle ) and leading roles in movies ( and Others Imagine Me & You in addition to their later Merlin co-star Anthony Head ).
Merlin - time
In 2008, Angel Coulby then managed in the UK the breakthrough when they co-starred in the BBC series Merlin Family - received the new adventure. In this adaptation of the Arthurian legend of the focus is on how are the historical figures of young people, as we know it. Angel Coulby plays the role of Gwen, one of the four main characters. Presented as a kitchen maid to Lady Morgana, she is the first friend of the young Merlin. It is against the rule of the current King Uther Pendragon, but believes that Arthur will make a good king, and by the time she develops feelings for Arthur, who reciprocated this. At the end of the series, she is crowned Queen of Camelot by Arthur.
Since the series is a big success in the UK and also more and more will be accepted by other countries, Angel Coulby was thanks to her role on Star.
