Angela Tong

Angela Tong (Chinese汤 盈盈/汤 盈盈, Pinyin Tang Ying Ying, Jyutping: Tong1 Jing4 Jing4; * June 30, 1975 in Montreal, Canada) is a Canadian actress of Chinese descent. She works primarily in Hong Kong.

Tong was born in Montreal, but has family roots in Shunde, a city in the Chinese province of Guangdong. After winning a local beauty contest, she represented Montreal in 1995 at the annual Miss Chinese International Pageant, one of the leading television station in Hong Kong (TVB ) sponsored pageant. Although Tong defeated the competition and only took a place among the top 12, they still received a contract actor.

Below Tong acted in various TV productions, but remained mostly confined to minor roles. Larger notoriety she gained with the TV series Life Made Simple (阿旺 新 传) until 2005. For her performance of Li Siu -Ho, she was named Best Supporting Actress of the 37th TVB Anniversary Awards.
