Anja Jacobs

Anja Jacobs ( born 1974 in Itzehoe ) is a German film director.

Life and work

Anja Jacobs began after graduating from high school in 1993, a communication design studies on the Hanseatic Academy of Marketing and Media in Hamburg and graduated in 1997 with diploma. After that, she works as a freelancer for various advertising agencies in Hamburg. From 1998 to 2003, Anna Jacobs then studied at the Film Academy Baden- Württemberg the subject Scenic Director. She graduated with the short film Wolf Canyon, which ran on many international festivals and received several awards, including the 2002 AFI Grand Jury Award and in 2003 a nomination at the 30th Student Academy Awards.

Since then, Anja Jacobs has directed several television productions and is, since 2009, for the production company Oberon Film GmbH operates as a producer for materials development.

Anja Jacobs lives in Berlin.
