Anna Leonie is a Treidelschiff on the Saar and preserved as a museum ship.

On the Saar getreidelte vehicles were referred to as " Penichen ". Until 1992, there was next to the waterway known as the towpaths or towpath. Once this was removed, the built 1925-26 Anna Leonie could not be used because they also continued to remain without its own drive. However, she was already in the 1960s moored in front of the Congress Hall in Saarbrücken.

The construction contract for the towing ship, the shipyard received the Brothers Shepherd in Völklingen / Luis valley from Schiffer core. He lived with his family on board and named the ship after his two youngest daughters. Until his death in 1987, a son was still alive on board. In 2006, the car was the last of its kind and should therefore be retained. The fishing Saar was able to buy it in 2007 and 2008 provide for repair in a shipyard. The end of 2009 an exhibition " The Future Ocean" by the Ministry of Environment, the Kiel Exzellenzkluster " The Future Ocean" and the fishing Saar was organized. In the future the museum and exhibition ship in Saarland along the Saar should be used.
