Anna Maria of Solms-Sonnewalde

Anna Maria, Countess of Solms- Sonnenwalde ( born January 24, 1585 Sonnenwalde, † November 20, 1634 in Ottweiler ) was by marriage Countess of Hohenlohe -Langenburg.

Life

Anna Maria was the third daughter of Count Otto zu Solms - Sonnenwalde (1550-1612), and his wife Anna Amalia, born Countess of Nassau- Weilburg (1560-1635), born.

On January 15, 1609 she married Count Philipp Ernst zu Hohenlohe- New Stone ( 1584-1628 ), son of Count Wolfgang of Hohenlohe- Weikersheim. Amid the turmoil of the Thirty Years' War widow Anna Maria and took over the government. In September 1634 she fled with her mother and her children in time, under escort of 200 horsemen summoned the Count Palatine of the Rhine in Saarbrücken and on to Ottweiler in the nassau saarbrückische home of her mother. She was buried with her husband in the crypt of the church of Lange 's city. Behind the age is a stone monument in memory of the couple.
