Anne Tolley

Anne Tolley (* March 1, 1953 in Napier ) is a New Zealand politician ( National Party ) and Minister for " Corrections and Police" ( prisons and police).

Her political career began in 1986 as a member of the City Council of Napier. In 1989, she was also Deputy Mayor. Both activities she held until 1995. In 1999, she took over a list to the House of Representatives. In 2002, she failed to reach the Parliament in 2005 but was re-elected as 2008. November 19, 2008, she broke Chris Carter as the New Zealand Education Minister from. In November 2011 she had to give the Ministry of Education follow a reshuffle and was appointed instead to the Minister for Prisons and Police.
