Annika Ljungberg
Annika Ljungberg ( pronunciation: [ ˌ in ika ː ː ʝɵŋ bæɹʝ ], Karin Annika Ljungberg completely, even Mary Joe ) ( born March 31, 1969 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish singer. She became famous with the band Rednex in 1994.
Work
She sang at the international breakthrough and greatest success of the band " Cotton Eye Joe". It was followed by other hits like "Wish You Were Here ", " Old Pop in to Oak " and " Wild and Free ".
1996 Rednex Ljungberg left to start a solo career. She released several singles and an album as a solo singer and worked at various music projects. They also gained experience as a television presenter at the show Festfixarna and a children's program.
End of 2004, Ljungberg rose again as a singer in Rednex and won with the single " Mama Take Me Home " within a few weeks a gold record. The follow-up single " Fe Fi ( The Old Man Died ) " placed in the Swedish charts.
Rednex Ljungberg and participated in the preliminary round of the Euro Vision Song Contest for Romania with the song " Well -o -wee ," the song but was disqualified. They also took the following year with the title " Railroad, Railroad " part.
