Anselmo Colzani

Anselmo Colzani ( born March 28, 1918 in Budrio, Italy, † March 20, 2006 in Milan ) was an Italian opera singer.

Colzani first appeared in 1946 in Richard Wagner's Lohengrin at the side of Renata Tebaldi.

His career began after a further appearance at La Scala in Milan and New York's Metropolitan Opera. Overall, he joined 18 years in New York. In his long career, he sang with Maria Callas, Franco Corelli, Mario del Monaco and Carlo Bergonzi.
