Anselmo Zarza Bernal

Anselmo Zarza Bernal ( born June 4, 1916 in Atlixco, Mexico) is a retired bishop of Leon, Mexico.

Life

Anselmo Zarza Bernal was ordained a priest on April 8, 1939. John XXIII. appointed him on 24 May 1962 Bishop of Linares. He was ordained on 22 August of the same year the bishop. On January 13, 1966, he was by Paul VI. appointed Bishop of León. On January 4, 1992, Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation.
