Antanas Lingis

Antanas Lingis ( born December 26, 1905 in Kaunas; † 6 June 1941 in Vilnius) was a Lithuanian footballer. He was twelve international goals in 33 games until November 17, 2007 top scorer of the Lithuanian national team, was replaced by Tomas Danilevičius.

Lingis debuted for the national team during the Lithuanian Baltic Cup 1928: On July 25, 1928 was however a 0:3 defeat against Latvia. His first international goal he scored in his fifth international appearance when it was won against Estonia 2-1. Since he also in the upcoming game, a 3-3 draw against Latvia, met, he was instrumental in the first win of the Baltic Cup by his country. Also in the second success in his home country in the summer of 1935 he scored in the two games each a goal.
