Antioch Arrow

Antioch Arrow was a mid-90s existing emocore / screamo band from San Diego, California / USA.

History

The band was born in the San Diegoer hardcore punk scene along with other bands such as Swing Kids and thus became one of the emotional hardcore bands playing.

The founding member Aaron Ricard was after he left by Andy Ward, who was also active in the band Evergreen replaced.

Overall, the band was three times U.S. tour in the summer of 1993, the largest being held. In July 1994 the band played the last show.

Style

The band had a great influence on the later emerging so-called Screamo. The band is often associated with this genre it myself.

When label Three Records On G is to be read to the style:

" At Antioch Arrow album or performance is an overwhelming art explosion of noisy poems sprayed in your face in one minute bursts. Sort of like someone emptying cans of Mace in your eyes. "

The style of Antioch Arrow is often referred to as a kind of hardcore, which should help draw attention to the experimental, self- reflective character of Emoband in relation to the normal hardcore.
