Anton Burghardt
Anton " Toni" Burghardt ( born June 9, 1942) is a former German football player and coach.
Playing career
Burghardt's career began at VfL Leverkusen in the amateur football association of the Middle Rhine. The latest round of the old class Oberligen system in 1962 /63 was the center half of the Football Oberliga West, from 1 FSV Mainz 05, an offer as a contract footballers. On opening day, August 19, 1962 the new data from the amateur debut in an away game at the Mainz Wormatia Worms in the football league. Before goalkeeper Horst -Dieter stroke he conducted as a center-half, the visitors' defenders. At the round end, he had completed 15 league bets. After the founding of the Bundesliga for Round 1963/64, for which you could not qualify, followed a year in the Regionalliga West. In 1967 he made it to the FCS in the promotion round to the Bundesliga, the rise did not succeed after two wins, four draws and two defeats. Burghardt played in all eight games ascent.
In 1968 he moved to Bundesliga side MSV Duisburg. There he spent two years under coach Robert Gebhardt on the side of the players Michael Bella, Detlef Pirsig, Hartmut Heidemann and Horst Gecks regulars. 1970/71 he was employed under the new MSV coach Rudi Alberts in only two games. He then went to Eintracht Bad Kreuznach, which had just gained in the Amateur League West. There was the newcomer, now with Burghardt as a player, at first champion. In the following year the championship again managed and Bad Kreuznach increased time on the Regionalliga West. In 1973/74 denied Burghardt three Regional games and then left the club.

Coaching career
In 1974 he successfully completed the training to become football coach in Cologne. His first coaching position in the amateur division team 1.FC Pforzheim, 1976, he moved to southern Baden to FC Rastatt 04
As of 22 December 1977 concerning Burghardt took over as coach in the relegation second division (Season North ) Red- White Lüdenscheid by Klaus Hilpert. Under his direction, the team left the relegation zone and finished the season off on the 13th place in the table. After the season he was replaced from Herbert Burdenski. Burghardt became the new 1978/79 season coach of Hannover 96, also 2 League North. The commitment was terminated after one season. Hannover ended the season in 15th place in the table, in the preseason in 1976 relegated from the Bundesliga club was still finished fifth.
1979/80 he coached the DSC Wanne -Eickel, 1980/81 Tennis Borussia Berlin and Rot-Weiss Oberhausen (all also 2 League North ).
In 1981 he was still coach of some amateur clubs, including his former club as a player 1st FC Pforzheim, Viktoria Goch ( 1983-1986 ), the Sportfreunde Siegen ( 1989-1991 and 1992-1993 ) and SpVgg Erkenschwick (1991 to 1992).
