Anton von Frisch

Anton von Frisch ( born February 16, 1849 in Vienna, † May 24, 1917 ) was an Austrian urologist.

Fresh, after studying at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, after a period as a demonstrator at Josef Hyrtl and a wizard time at Theodor Billroth, Professor of Anatomy at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.

In 1874, he was a university professor in Vienna and 1889 primary urological department of the polyclinic.

Freshly discovered in 1882 Rhinoscleroma bacillus and the identity of the strife with the disease anthrax. He founded the urology as an independent expert at the Medical Faculty of Vienna.

Anton von Frisch was married to Marie von Frisch, daughter of Franz Serafin Exner and sister of Adolf Exner, Karl Exner, Sigmund Exner Franz Serafin Exner -. They had four sons, including the jurist Hans von Frisch and the zoologist Karl von Frisch.
