Antonina Nezhdanova

Antonina Wassiljewna Neschdanowa (Russian Антонина Васильевна Нежданова, English transcription Antonina Nezhdanova; . * 4 Julijul / July 16 1873greg in Kriwaja Balka in Odessa, Russian Empire, . † June 26, 1950 in Moscow) was a Russian opera singer ( lyric coloratura soprano). She is considered one of the most important representatives of Russian vocal school.

Life

After studying at the Moscow Conservatory in 1902 they Emsemblemitglied of the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre. In St. Petersburg, Kiev and Odessa, she could be heard on the opera stage.
