The ships of Mariya Yermolova - class (Russian Мария Ермолова, German transcription: Marija Yermolova ), which was also known as Project 1454 were passenger ships of small size. The class was named after the first ship of the class, which bears the name of the Russian Drama Actress Marija Yermolova.

History

The ships of the project in 1454 were made from 1974 to 1978 into two sub-series. The Tito Shipyard in Kraljevica (Yugoslavia ) built ships own design that were unique in the world. The ships went to Soviet shipping companies, the Far East Seereederei received five ships: " Olga Androvskaya ", " Olga Sadovskaya ", " Lyubov Orlova ", " Mariya Savina " of the Sakhalin- Seereederei in Kholmsk and " Antonina Nezhdanova " from the Baltic shipping company. From three ships remained in the Murmansk Seereederei only one ship " Klavdiya Yelanskaya ", the lead ship " Mariya Yermolova " went to the Caspian Seereederei Alla Tarasova and went to Nassau, where it was renamed the Clipper Adventurer. The ships were used on different lines and when cruise ships for Soviet and foreign tourists.

Technology

The vessels possessed a diesel drive with two built in Yugoslavia eight-cylinder B & W Uljanik main engines (type: 8M 35BF 62) with 3884 kW total power.

Equipment

According to the project the small ships of the line had 206 passenger seats in cabins and 28 airplane seats ( seats). All cabins were specially equipped with shower, toilet, sink and air conditioning, and 10 cabins with folding beds for children. A restaurant in the tail section, two cafes, one with a bar for 40 people and the other with a cinema hall for 60 people, music room with a stage for ship orchestra and dance floor for 87 people in the bow section.
