Antonio Di Salvo ( born June 5, 1979 in Paderborn ) is a retired Italian footballer.

Career

Di Salvo began at BV Bad Lippspringe playing football and joined as a 12 year old to TuS Paderborn -Neuhaus. In 1996, he played for the club in 1997 in SC Paderborn renamed to 07, in the regional as a striker. By December 1999, he graduated from 53 league games and scored 16 goals.

Aged 20, he moved in January 2000 to FC Bayern Munich. First used in the second team in the Regionalliga Süd, he made his debut on 19 August 2000 ( 2nd Round ) in the 3-0 win in the away game against VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga when he substitute for Carsten Jancker in 71 minutes been.
