Antonio José RamÃrez SalaverrÃa
Antonio José Ramírez Salaverría ( born October 31, 1917 in Cariaco ) is a retired Venezuelan bishop of Maturin.
Life
Antonio José Ramírez Salaverría was consecrated on 14 July 1940 Priest of the Diocese of Cumana.
Pope Pius XII. appointed him on 24 May 1958 Bishop of Maturin. The Apostolic Nuncio to Venezuela Raffaele Forni consecrated him on 14 September of the same year the bishop; Co-consecrators were Juan José Ortiz Bernal, Archbishop of Ciudad Bolívar and Crisanto Darío Mata Cova, Bishop of Cumana.
On 7 May 1994, Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
