Antonito is a small town in Conejos County in the U.S. state of Colorado. The city was founded on December 29, 1889 located at 2405 meters above sea level and counted in 2010 according to Statistics Authority 781 inhabitants in an area of one square kilometer.

The city lies on the highways U.S. Highway 285 and Colorado State Highway 17, and serves as a starting point for summer car rides on the routes of the former Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad: The narrow gauge " Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad " evaporated up to 100 km over Osier to Chama (New Mexico), the standard gauge San Luis and Rio Grande Railroad runs under the name of Rio Grande Scenic Railroad Alamosa, Monte Vista and La Veta.
