Antonov An-28

Series production began in Poland with a first order for 15 machines. Until 1 January 1991 163 machines were ordered. It was in this year also attempts an American engine, to use the Pratt & Whitney PT6A65B. This variant is called An-28 PT and launched in the spring of 1993 for its maiden flight. As PZL M-28 Skytruck the machines are manufactured in small quantities.

An extended version of the An-28 was developed as an Antonov An -38.
