The station Antwerpen-Berchem is a station of the NMBS / SNCB in the homonymous district of the Belgian city of Antwerp. He is to Antwerpen Centraal the second most important railway station of the city. At the ten platform tracks keep intercity, inter-regional and regional trains. The trains connect Antwerpen-Berchem, among others, Lille, Ostend, Charleroi, Ghent, Liège, Leuven and Brussels.

At the station, keep the tram lines 8 and 11, as well as several bus lines that connect the station to the suburbs of Antwerp.

The station was opened under the name " Berchem " in 1863. From 1975, the station was also served by international trains, which until then had only held in Antwerpen- Oost, and therefore renamed " Berchem ( Antwerp) ". After the incorporation Berchem in Antwerp train station finally received its present name.

By 9 December 2007, the trains were held in Paris and Amsterdam (Thalys and Beneluxtrein ) in Antwerp - Berchem, in order to avoid having to use the terminal station Antwerpen-Centraal. Since the completion of the new railway tunnel beneath the main train station but a drive through without stopping is possible so that the Antwerp- Berchem is not since been approached.
