Apache Lake (Arizona)

The Apache Lake is a reservoir 50 km east of phoenix on the border of Maricopa County and Gila County in the U.S. state of Arizona. He belongs to a system of reservoirs on the Salt River, and is about 5 km below the Theodore Roosevelt Lake and 8 km upstream of Canyon Lake. He is dammed by Horse Mesa Dam. The reservoirs for water supplies from Phoenix and as a recreation area. It is easily accessible via the AZ -88.
