Apeldoorn–Deventer railway

The railway line Apeldoorn - Deventer is a railway line between Apeldoorn and Deventer in the Netherlands. The railway is an important freight link between Randstad and Germany as well as a much traveled rail route in passenger transport. The distance is about 15 kilometers.

History

The first section of the route, between Apeldoorn and Twello, was opened on 21 November 1887. On September 1, 1888 followed by the part between Twello and Deventer. The electrification took place in 1951. The top speed is 130 km / h

Train services
