Apodakos

Apodakos was a king of the Charakene in which it was a vassal state of the Parthians. Apodakos reigned from about 124-104 / 3 BC, as he is known only by his silver and bronze coins.

After the death of his widow Hyspaosines Thalassia should have tried its still infant son to sit on the throne. This event is mentioned in cuneiform texts, without the name of the Son is given.

From the years 110 / 09-104 / 3 BC, as now comes the dated coins of Apodakos whether this is identical to the son mentioned in the texts, is uncertain, but seems quite possible. There is nothing further is known about his person.
