Arayik Harutyunyan

Arajik Harutyunyan (Armenian Արայիկ Հարությունյան; born December 14, 1973 in Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast, Azerbaijan SSR, Soviet Union) is an Armenian politician and currently Prime Minister of the unrecognized Republic of Nagorno Karabakh. Arajik Harutyunyan is considered the wealthiest man in the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh.

Arajik Harutyunyan graduated in 1990 his education at a school with an emphasis on physics and mathematics in Stepanakert. After that he went to study at the Institute of National Economy in Yerevan. At times he had to interrupt his studies his service in the Army of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh abzuleisten and took part in hostilities as part of the military conflict with Azerbaijan. In 1994, Harutyunyan at the Faculty of Economics of the State University of Artsakh Stepanakert. In 1995 he finished his studies and began a regular activity in the finance and economy ministry Nagorno-Karabakh. At the same time he completed a postgraduate degree, which he completed in 1998. From 1997 he worked for Hajagrobank until he was elected to the National Assembly of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh in 2005. At the same time he took over the party and parliamentary leader of the party Azat Hajrenik. In 2007, he broke Anuschawan Danieljan from the Prime Minister.

Harutyunyan is married and has two children.
