Arcángel (singer)

Arcángel ( born December 23, 1986 in New York; actual name Austin Santos) is an American singer and songwriter. He is best known for his collaboration with De La Ghetto under the name " Arcángel y De La Ghetto ".

Life

Arcángel grew up in New York with his Dominican mother, the singer at Las Chicas del Can wanted to be on. He learned the singer De La Ghetto familiar with just that and produced songs such as " valve Pégate " and " Sorpresa ". In 2006 he broke away from De La Ghetto, and began a solo career. Heard he was in DJ Nelson's album Flow la Discoteka, Vol 2 (2007) in the song " Chica Virtual". His first solo album, La Maravilla remained unpublished. Finally, he published the end of 2008 be Debütalubum " El Fenómino ," among others, in collaboration with Luny Tunes, Mambo Kingz, Tainy and Noriega. Some of the songs on this album were originally for his first album, La Maravilla provided, including the hit single " Paque la Pases Bien". Another hit of this album was "Por Amar a ciegas " which helped the album to rise 20 Billboard charts of Latino music in the top.

In 2008, Arcángel played in the movie " Death in Paradise" with and released his first official album. This is attributable to the genre reggaeton and hip-hop.
