Archduchess Karoline Marie of Austria

Karoline Maria Immaculata Josepha Ferdinanda Therese Antoinette Leopoldine Franziska Isabella Christine Luise Januaria Benedicta Laurencia Justiniana ( born September 5, 1869 in Altmünster, † May 12, 1945 in Budapest) was a born Archduchess of Austria, Princess of Tuscany and by marriage Princess of Saxe - Coburg and Gotha.

Life

Caroline was a daughter of Archduke Karl Salvator of Austria - Tuscany and his wife Maria Immaculata, Princess of Bourbon and the Two Sicilies.

From 1893 to 1894 she was abbess of the Teresian Women's pin in Prague.

On May 30, 1894 married in Vienna with the Prince August Leopold of Saxe -Coburg and Gotha, son of Prince Ludwig August of Saxe- Coburg and Gotha and the Brazilian Infanta Leopoldina de Bragança.

With 75 years of Princess Caroline died in Budapest.
