Archives of Death is a 13-part television series that was produced by the East German television in 1979. A similar series with partially the same participants ran four years later under the title front without mercy. The consequences were an hour each and were shown on Fridays by 20 clock. Several German actors who were seen in prominent supporting roles, simultaneously took over the synchronization of other foreign language Actors: Helmut Schellhardt as Henselmann and voice of Colonel Balkownik, Karlsturm as Flint's driver and voice of Stepan and most markedly Frank Schenk as a young officer in the archive and voice of the main character Heiner. Leon Niemczyk, Gojko Mitic and Angel Stoyanov are heard with their own voices.
Action
In November 1944, five international resistance fighters; George, Boris, Heiner, Captain Ernst and Janek here for employees to convey a secret German archive to the Allies. The problem is that with further advance of the Soviet Army is a risk that this archive is laid. The exact location of this archive is not yet known, so the group is dropped by parachute to the edge of the Beskids. One of them, George is injured when jumping the group and separated from the others. In a swamp, he is rescued by the Polish partisan Hanka. When George, fails due to his injury, Hanka kidnapped with his friends the Surgeon General Dr. Laue. This gives Georg provisionally a new identity. The group is separated by different circumstances, but is back together and can perform the job on. Another ally find the resistance fighters in the radio operator Renate Wiesner. Opponent are the masters of defense, Major Zirrgiebel and Captain Frenzel, and by the SS, SS- Standartenführer Hauk, SS- Obersturmbannführer and SS Flint Obersturmführer Beisel.
