Ardabil (Persian اردبيل / ærdæbi ː l; Azeri: اردبيل / Ərdəbil / erdɛbɪl ) is one of the largest and most important cities of the historical Azerbaijan, which lies in north-western Iran today in the province of the same name.

Geography

History
