Arden, Argyll

Arden is a small scattered settlement in the Scottish unitary authority Argyll and Bute. It lies on the banks of Loch Lomond ever about five kilometers north- west of Alexandria and north-east of Helensburgh. Arden, near the border between the regions of Argyll and Bute and West Dunbartonshire. In the census data Arden is not listed separately, so that no population can be specified.

The A82, which connects Glasgow and Fort William with Inverness, Arden connects to the trunk road network. In the village is the native of the 1860s Auchendennan Castle House is a monument of the highest Scottish monument category A.
