Ariobarzanes of Pontus

Ariobarzanes († 256 BC) was from 266 BC until his death King of the Kingdom of Pontus on the Black Sea.

Ariobarzanes was the son and successor of Mithridates I. He came into the possession of the city Amastris in Paphlagonia and allied himself, like his father, with the Galatians. He died shortly after the campaign of Antiochus II Seleukidenkönigs against Byzantium. His successor was Mithridates II
