Armin Bauer

Armin Bauer ( born July 15, 1990 in Bolzano ) is an Italian Nordic combined.

Bauer began his international career in 2005 at FIS races. From 2006 he started in B- World Cup Nordic Combined. At the Junior World Cup in 2006 in Kranj he reached the 26th place in the sprint and 28th place in the Gundersen. In team competition, he reached the seventh place with the team. A year later, at the Junior World Championships 2007 in Tarvisio, he reached the 14th place in the sprint and 24th place in the Gundersen. With the team he just missed the medals in fourth place. Also in Zakopane 2008, he only reached fourth place with the team. On November 29, 2008 in Kuusamo farmer gave his debut in the World Cup Nordic Combined. In his first season he was able to win first World Cup points. Also in the following season he achieved this. At the Olympic Winter Games 2010 in Vancouver Bauer reached the 43rd place in the individual on the normal hill and the 21th place in the individual of the large hill. In team competition, he was together with Alessandro Pittin, Giuseppe Michielli and Luke Runggaldier at the end of tenth. The 2009/10 season he finished then with five World Cup points on points with Maxime Laheurte at the 61st place in the overall World Cup standings.
