Armin Schwarz

Armin Schwarz (* July 16, 1963 in Dietersheim ) is a German rally driver.

Career

Black drove first in various German series, where he won several victories. His professional career began in 1987. Between 1987 and 1988 Black was German champion. In 1988 he took part in the World Rally Championship. His biggest success in this series he recorded in 1991 by winning the Rally Spain. In addition, in 1996 he became European champion. Black drove last for Škoda in the World Rally Championship and ended his career in the World Rally Championship at the end of the 2005 season. A year later he took over the post of team manager at the Austrian Red Bull Rally Team. In addition to his racing career, he worked as an expert in the TV broadcasts of RTL, n-tv and Sport 1

Since 2007, Armin Schwarz starts with the individual off-road racing events of the American desert racing series SCORE International Off- Road Racing Series ( Baja et al 1000) in the All German Motorsports team. 2009 brought the Black race series in Germany. He is the initiator of the BAJA 300 POWERDAYS Germany in the Lausitz region.

Black lives in Austria, is married and has two children.
